Sorry that I haven't written much on here in a while. I've just got back from a lovely holiday in Spain.
I have managed to do quite a bit of cross stitching over the summer and am just going to go and do some more now. I will try and post a picture of how my Hello Kitty is looking sometime this week.

November Update and December Goals
November Goals
-To buy some more white thread. Yep, I bought some more.
- Complete some more of the white. I didn't mange to get any more of the white done this month
- Try to finish the bow off. Quite a large proportion of the bow is finished, I didn't realistically think I would finish all of it.
I have had a very busy month. I was involved in a production of Bugsy Malone, doing the lighting, and show week was amazing, albeit, very tiring. I also went to the after-show party until 6am, which was extremeley fun.
Then last Saturday was the Christmas Ball, held in the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, which was also amazing.
This week and last week has been spent catching up on ll the work missed and revising for an exam next Thursday. I also have a commentary due in on Tuesday, which is coming along nicely.
Therefore, not a lot of cross-stitching has been completed!
I have sort of deserted my Hello Kitty this month, and am working on a Christmas Sampler, which I am hoping to give to my mum for Christmas, if it is finished on time!

Update and Round Robin
Well, as you can see the bow is starting to take shape, but there's still quite a bit left to do. I am really enjoying stitching this piece. I don't think I will get much stitching done this week as it is prodction week. We are performing Bugsy Malone from Tuesday to Saturday. I am in the crew, and tomorrow is the get-in at 8am! I'm looking forward to it though.
Also, one of the people from the Facebook UK Round Robin has contacted me again (I had given up hope and thought everyone had given up on it!). So, the Round Robin is still on. I am doing a floral theme and I have nearly finished it. I just need to tidy up the dividing sections.
Bye for now.

Updates
The project I am working on at the moment is a Hello Kitty piece. It is quite large and has 4 pages to it. Here is a picture of it at the moment:

As you can see I have done most of the left side of the face (page 1), although there is still quite a lot of white to do.
My goals for November
- To buy some more white thread and complete some more of the white.
- Try to finish the bow off.

Welcome
I have decided to start a new blog here to record my cross stitch progress and hopefully include some photos.
So, let me introduce myself first. I'm Naomi and am an 18 year old student studying Spanish and Psychology at The University of Manchester. During the holidays I live in Berkshire with my parents and my younger sister. I have been doing cross stitch since I was 8 years old, so for 10 years now!
